The Opportunity


We are looking for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager to help develop Voyager’s customer base and partner network.


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating opportunities, and turning conversations into long term partnerships. You will work across new businesses, while also supporting the growth of our dealer channel.



Location: Christchurch or Auckland with flexible working options


Travel: Some national travel required



What You Will Be Doing


Grow new business and revenue



  • Identify, engage, and win new customers that align with Voyager’s ideal client profile

  • Build a strong pipeline and convert opportunities into revenue

  • Own the full sales journey from first conversation through to contract and handover


Develop existing customer relationships



  • Proactively engage with your customer portfolio to identify upselling and cross sell opportunities

  • Build trusted relationships that support long term growth

  • Maintain consistent and meaningful engagement


Support and grow the dealer channel



  • Work closely with dealer partners to drive performance and alignment

  • Support onboarding and ongoing enablement

  • Ensure partners are well equipped to represent Voyager


Deliver strong sales execution



  • Prepare tailored proposals, pricing, and commercial solutions

  • Collaborate with technical and presales teams to design the right outcomes

  • Ensure a smooth transition from sale to delivery


Stay connected to the market



  • Represent Voyager professionally in market and at industry events

  • Share insights into customer needs, trends, and opportunities

About You


You are a proactive and results-focused sales professional who enjoys building strong relationships and delivering outcomes.



  • 5 or more years’ experience in a sales or business development role

  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding targets

  • Experience in telecommunications, VOIP, and cloud solutions is essential

  • Experience preparing proposals and responding to RFIs

  • Strong commercial thinking and ability to match solutions to customer needs

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple opportunities

  • Positive, resilient, and motivated to succeed
