About us
We are the forwarding and logistics division of one of the largest shipping/logistics company globally. We are looking to hire an outstanding Sales Executive to join our currently a close-knit forwarding team with near term rapid expansion plan in place to meet our accelerated growth target.
The position
- Report directly to the General Manager.
- Winning major accounts and developing business.
- Implement sales strategies in order to penetrate the Sea & Airfreight market.
- Identify various channels to market and seek to win new fresh business as well as capitalising on existing warm leads.
- Further expand the already established client base by proactively targeting key industries.
- Meet all KPI's and generate revenue for your region.
- Leverage off any existing relationships and network effectively within your industry to meet key contacts and ultimately win business.
The ideal candidate for consideration
- Have at least 3+ years' minimum experience in the Forwarding industry include Sales and Operational experience.
- An experienced sales professional with a proven record of overachieving on your KPI.
- You have a proven track record of acquiring and building new business.
- You have sound knowledge of all facets of the end to end Freight Forwarding services.
- An energetic, self-motivated individual who shows no fear nor hesitation when it comes to hunting down and sourcing new business.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Be a self-starter and highly motivated individual with a "can do" and "making it happen" attitude and be able to work autonomously whilst still achieving excellent results.
