Due to exceptional results over the last few years, we have a fantastic B2B sales opportunity and are seeking a Business Development Manager – Dunedin to grow the existing customer base.

This is an exciting territory that also provides exceptional growth opportunities, so the successful candidate must have a strong desire to want to grow and develop a strong pipeline of business opportunities through strategic account management, networking and relationship management.

  • Sales Methodologies – Confident in utilising the various Sales techniques as necessary (transactional selling, solution selling, consultative selling, and provocative selling)
  • Leadership – Be excited by what is possible
  • Communication – This is a big one, oral and written is a must
  • Business Acumen – Understand the bigger picture, ensure all business are profitable on both sides
  • Relationship Savvy – All progress is made through relationships
  • Results driven – “No Excuse” mindset, it’s all about the outcome
  • Appetite for learning – Always open to training and development

The ideal candidate will have

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant life experience.
  • Understands the obligation for accurate sales reporting and territory planning
  • Ability to identify opportunities in your customer base and develop strategies to influence these opportunities to increase sales.
  • Success in winning new business and achieving sales targets.
  • Sales reporting and territory planning experience.
  • Strong sales disciplines and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to influence decision makers and convert opportunities into sales.
  • Ability to identify business ideas and strategies to increase sales.
