Have you ever sat on a comfy seat in a large sports stadium, concert venue or auditorium and wondered where it was made?  Sebel NZ manufactures and produces great quality seating and furniture products that see them owning strong market share in the education and mass seating market across New Zealand.  We are looking for someone to join the Auckland based team to further drive their sales.

This senior BDM role is all about gaining commercial insight and market intelligence and then leveraging key customer and stakeholder relationships to proactively promote and sell mass seating for large public capacity venues across New Zealand.  Seating in the likes of Mt Smart Stadium, the Auckland Town Hall, Te Papa, and the Michael Fowler Centre in Wellington are great examples of their work. And the school and university markets are an important staple in their portfolio and target audiences. Sebel NZ has an established existing customer base and a well-respected product offering in the educational and school sectors, but there is plenty of room in this new and still relatively untapped market of ‘mass seating’ for large capacity venues. Initially this role will focus on retaining the successful market and revenue share of Sebel NZ products already sold into schools. Your territory will span West Auckland, North Shore, and Rodney, and will also extend from there to the South Island, where lots of opportunity awaits.  Once you get comfortable in the seat here, your role will then evolve to focus more on the ‘mass seating’ offering. You will be targeting new business, growing the customer base and sales pipeline, and penetrating and securing opportunities in this growing market.  It’s not a cold start; there is an established customer and network base for you to build upon and take to the next level.  You will work with a supportive GM of Sales and collaborate with a highly connected and driven New Zealand based team who have a great culture and love coming together.
  
This role is suited to a high energy, experienced, well-planned sales leader who loves getting out and engaging with people.  You must be able to develop credibility, trust, authenticity and understanding of a range of environments with key influencers in both the education-based sectors and the large capacity venue market. Confidence operating and connecting with key decision makers will be crucial. B2B sales experience and proof of success in achieving sales targets is essential. Familiarity with relatable sectors and relevant markets will be highly regarded.  Excellent remuneration, including a company vehicle and bonuses reflects the scale of the role, and potential of the market here.
