We are currently seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager for Advanced Security to join our team in Dunedin, who is capable of guiding and expanding our business operations in the Otago and Southland regions.

THE ROLE: 

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales strategies, expanding market presence, and establishing strategic partnerships.

Your responsibilities will involve leading a team, generating revenue growth, and fostering long-term client relationships. There will be a requirement to design and build solution systems for customers, with site visits being an important part of shaping and providing innovative customer solutions. 

This position requires a combination of sales expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to achieve ambitious sales targets and contribute to the company's overall growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, achieve sales targets, and expand the customer base.
  • Identify and target key market segments, building strong relationships with clients and partners to generate leads and close deals.
  • Responsibility and oversight of the branch and technical team
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with industry influencers, system integrators, distributors, and other relevant stakeholders to expand market reach and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, technical support, and marketing, to ensure effective alignment of sales efforts with product offerings and market needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of security technology solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients, ensuring profitability and compliance with company policies.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in Sales and Business Development
  • Experience within electronic, electrotechnology or information technology sector or related field. 
  • Solid track record of driving revenue growth, achieving sales targets, and successfully closing complex deals.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong business acumen and a result-oriented mindset.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive business decisions.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve exceptional results.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients, attend industry events, and nurture strategic partnerships.
