The Opportunity

With growth comes opportunity, and we have a fantastic position for a highly driven Business Development Manager based at our Auckland site (New Zealand).

The brief is simple – establish Infinitev as the number one brand and supplier of choice of EV replacement batteries across the region.

Commercially astute, you will deliver a strong pipeline of prospects, whilst continuing to nurture and support existing business, taking great pride in working with a sustainable product and service offering. 

Hands-on, you will also showcase your technical expertise, visiting and speaking with a diverse range of stakeholders including workshops and commercial vehicle fleets. Your natural ability to establish credibility through your expertise and understanding of the industry will allow you to achieve and maximise growth.

You will use your strong organisation skills to define and execute a best-in-class experience. Acting as a product specialist across the region, you will use the customer journey to “localise” the customer process, and support the after sales service, in collaboration with the Engineering team. 

Energetic and resilient, you will appreciate the autonomy to make this role your own and harness the commitment to customer value and service excellence. The business is still evolving, so your inquisitive nature coupled with your ability to own a process from start to finish will see you transition into the role with ease.

What we are looking for

As an industry professional you have established a strong reputation for delivering results and developing mutually beneficial partnerships. You are commercially inclined and possess a strong sense of ownership, always ensuring that you provide a solution that is aligned with business objectives and customer requirements. 

Ideally you will also have 

  • Demonstrated experience in a relevant commercial/technical sales role in a B2B environment within Automotive or related industry
  • Trade or formal qualifications in Engineering or related discipline is beneficial, not essential
  • Proven track record in building and maintaining true working partnerships with customers
  • A proactive and strategic approach to developing and securing new business
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing frameworks
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully developing and executing sales growth pipelines, converting leads into sales
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Pronto highly favourable
  • Willingness to travel as needed 
  • Passion for EV and emerging automotive technologies
