Business Development Manager - Urgent Position

Company Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Business Development Manager to join our vibrant team on a full-time basis. This role is pivotal in driving growth for three of our established businesses: iDry Restorations, Cleaning Pro, and Flooring Pro. These companies are at the forefront of delivering exceptional services across New Zealand.

Position: Business Development Manager

• Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
• Location: Auckland, New Zealand (Local travel required)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to attract and retain clients.
• Schedule and conduct meetings with potential clients and key stakeholders.
• Build and sustain relationships with important entities within the insurance, hospitality, property management, and local government sectors.
• Seek out and exploit new business opportunities to promote growth.
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate client data in our customer relationship management software.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure client needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
• Engage the CEO in strategic meetings and provide frequent updates.
• Regularly revise and update sales budgets and forecast pipeline sales.
• Produce detailed reports on sales activities and the efficacy of implemented strategies.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven track record in sales, ideally within a consulting environment.
• Strong network within the insurance, hotel, body corporate, and local council sectors in Auckland.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong analytical skills and solid business acumen.

Operations Objectives:

• Goal to add 100 new clients by the end of the year, focusing on various sectors including franchise owners.
• Regular face-to-face interactions with clients to introduce our services and expand our network.
• Provide weekly updates to the CEO regarding pipeline status and business development activities.

Remuneration and Expenses:

• Hourly Rate: $40 per hour, plus a competitive commission structure.
• Expenses: Reimbursement for client-related travel and fuel expenses on a weekly basis via Xero.
