Business Development - Trade

We are seeking a well-rounded, adaptable and experienced sales professional to join our growing Business Development team. This person will develop and diversify total waste solutions while advancing and growing our business. This role is packed with opportunity for growth.

In this role you will be required to work closely with our Commercial and Residential builders developing and managing the growth of existing customers as well as proactively identifying new potential business opportunities. We are looking for someone to solve our clients’ problems and to achieve this objective you will have the ability to network and communicate effectively at all levels of our customers’ organisations.

We are looking for a nurturer who is willing to learn and who is passionate about saving the planet and the building industry. You will be fantastic at consultative sales but will also be able to switch from talking business strategy to pinpointing opportunities where we can truly make a difference.

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

• Proven experience and success working in a targeted sales environment.
• Relevant experience in a similar environment/role is preferable.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent time management.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Self-motivated and works to strict deadlines.
• Strong Written and Verbal Communication is a must.
• Proven problem solving skills.
• Computer literate.
• Qualification in Business, Logistics or related field is preferable.
