We are in need of a resilient Business Support Service Administrator to join our multidisciplinary team at Baker Tilly Staples Rodway in Hamilton Central, Waikato.

We have an excellent opportunity for an administrator to join our Business Support Service team.  We will provide you with the necessary training to be successful in this role, but as you will manage our compliance process, you need to be a good communicator, have an interest in accounting, strong numerical skills, intermediate skill level in excel and a great attention to detail.  At Baker Tilly we are looking for an enthusiastic and positive team player who would also enjoy participating in continuous improvement activities with the team.   As a result you will be able to develop and or enhance your skills around process and systems improvements.

This is a permanent fulltime position and in this role you will be responsible for:

  • Managing client records and the input of data into a variety of systems
  • Preparing reports using our internal accounting system and various cloud-based services
  • Performing quality control checks
  • Proofreading final documents prior to release to clients
  • Preparing GST returns, FBT returns and income tax returns for some of our clients
