About the role

We’re looking for a Business Systems Specialist to join our IT team and help improve how we use systems, data and automation across the business.

This role will see you working across the Microsoft Power Platform to build practical solutions that make day-to-day operations easier and more efficient. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys working with both systems and people, and wants to continue developing their technical skillset in a hands-on environment.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work closely with the business and IT team to support existing systems while also contributing to new improvements and solutions. This will include:

• Developing and enhancing Power Apps to support internal processes


• Creating and maintaining automated workflows using Power Automate


• Supporting and improving Power BI reporting


• Assisting with SQL queries and database management


• Working with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into workable solutions


• Supporting UAT processes and helping roll out new tools and updates


• Documenting processes, workflows and system changes


• Contributing to data quality and consistency across systems

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone with a solid foundation who’s ready to build on their experience:

• Experience working with the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate and/or Power BI)


• Working knowledge of SQL and databases


• Exposure to business systems, process improvement or automation


• Experience supporting or implementing systems in a business environment


• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders


• A practical, solutions-focused mindset
