Cafe Supervisor

The role:

We are looking for an energetic Café Supervisor to join our Richmond Village catering team. Ideally you will have experience in café operations, customer service, food control plans and ideally have a Barista qualification.

You will be responsible for the daily operation of the on-site café, providing quality food and drinks and be part of a team providing exciting events for our residents. 

The hours are Monday to Friday. Shifts will vary to match the café’s needs. This could at times include early starts from 7:30am for prep.

About you:

• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and organisation skills as well as the ability to multi-task
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• Demonstrated high level of self-motivation and initiative to set and achieve goals
• Ability to demonstrate experience at food preparation and hygiene standards
• Experience in operating a café is desirable (but not essential)
• Barista Qualification
• Current Food Handlers certificate
• Understanding food safety and have a high level of personal hygiene
• LQC qualification (or willingness to obtain)
• Bar Managers License
