Seeking a dynamic Clinical Care Home Manager with strong business acumen & leadership skills to lead a passionate team. M-F hours with ongoing support

About the position

As a Care Home Manager you will thrive in challenging situations and possess the ability to think outside the box. Your clinical, business, commercial and health experience will drive you to constantly excel in your role. Working collaboratively with the Clinical Coordinator and Area Manager, you will motivate and engage your team members to consistently provide high standard quality care to residents with a strong focus on quality of life and independence. Within this site you will be overseeing rest home, hospital and secure dementia levels of care. Strive to continually improve the quality of this facility by safeguarding high standards of care. Create an environment where excellence in clinical support will flourish

• Monday to Friday hours with limited on call
• Hold clinical governance for the site
• Oversee and lead compliance and quality improvements
• Promote training, education and support of staff members
• Oversee and manage the financials and working within budgets

Skills & Experience

• Registered Nurse with a current APC with the NZ Nursing Council
• A genuine passion for working within the aged care sector
• In-depth prior clinical leadership skills is required
• Previous experience working across quality, financials, and daily operations is needed
• Strong interpersonal skills, being able to build rapport and strong networks
• Lead by example and build a strong collaborative working culture
