Job Description - Care Partner Casual

Position


We are seeking dedicated, compassionate, and team-oriented Care Partners to join our caregiving family. As a Care Partner you will be the cornerstone of our resident-centred approach, helping to foster a compassionate and enriching environment for our seniors.



Key responsibilities




  • Personal care: Assisting residents with daily activities


  • Emotional support: Offering companionship and meaningful interactions to enhance residents’ mental and emotional well-being


  • Health monitoring: Observing and recording the physical and mental condition of residents and reporting on changes


  • Team collaboration: Working closely with the nursing staff, therapists, and other team members to deliver high quality of care.


  • Communication: Maintaining clear and compassionate communication with residents, their family, and team members.



Qualifications



  • Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare is preferred

  • A Level 2 certificate in Health and Wellbeing or nursing is a plus

  • A good understanding of Te Ao Maori is an advantage

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Basic ability to use a computer

  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
