We are looking for a Case Manager with a Nursing or Allied Health background, who has the clinical skills required to assist people with current or ongoing mental health problems and to maintain their place in the community. This role will be working within the community and within our integrated model of care.
Our Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team is currently looking for skilled and passionate mental health professional. The new role is vital to the mental health of our children and young people across the West Coast as you will be supporting them through their journey along with their whanau. This role will be working within the community alongside our NGO partner Poutini Waiora and within our integrated model of care. There will be opportunities and support for professional development and ongoing role development.
- Undertaking allcomponents of case management, including: comprehensive assessment, riskassessment and management, recovery, and treatment planning
- Providing client-centredcare, utilising evidence-based treatment strategies including, whereappropriate, talking therapies
- Taking part in the localcrisis response service roster.
- Working Monday to Friday

- NZ Registered Health professional as a Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist or Physiotherapist.
- Excellent communication& relationship building skills, this is a developing role with theopportunity to develop and enhance the service provision and personal practice.
- Passion for child &youth mental health
- Flexibility to workautonomously as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Understanding andapplication of the principles of the treaty of Waitangi, with a culturally safeand appropriate approach to practice
- Commitment to ongoingprofessional development
- A strong understandingof Māori health inequity and Māori population need
- Understanding ofcontemporary approaches to mental health and wellbeing
- Clean & full driverslicence as you will be traveling in DHB cars, this role encompasses the wholeof the Westcoast Karamea to Haast.
