Bay Venues …. Haven’t heard of us? Not to worry; I bet you have heard of some of the venues we own or operate – the iconic Mount Hot Pools, Baywave, or Mercury Baypark to name a few. As the kaitiaki of 24 facilities in Tauranga Moana, we proudly offer a range of activities and experiences intended to put a smile on the dial of our community.

We are on the lookout for a Kitchen Hand to support the daily operations of our brand-new café, Market & Main. As a key member of our small, fast-paced team, you'll play an important role in helping us deliver a fantastic food and beverage experience.

About the Role: 

• Assisting with food preparation and basic cooking tasks


• Maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen environment


• Washing dishes and keeping all kitchen equipment hygienic and organised


• Supporting the café team during busy periods


• Following all food safety and health & safety protocols

This role is casual, offering flexibility and variety – perfect if you enjoy hands-on work in a positive, community-focused environment.

About You: 

You’ll bring energy, initiative, and a great work ethic to the team. Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Previous kitchen or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential)


• Good time management and the ability to work under pressure


• A strong commitment to hygiene and food safety practices


• A friendly, reliable, and team-oriented attitude


• A willingness to learn and jump in wherever needed
