Casual School Driver

The Opportunity;

We’re searching for a School Bus Driver (Part-Time, Casual) to join our team, providing coverage in Methven. Reporting to our Methven Depot, you’ll be working school bus hours before and after school as needed.

There may also be opportunities to pick up extra work doing charters when required. You’ll enjoy having school holidays off, except when ongoing training or development is scheduled.

We partner with regional councils and schools to supply public transport services as well as offering a range of bus and coach hire services to businesses and the general public. You would be joining us at an exciting time in Ritchies’ history as we gear up to decarbonise our fleet and move to a more sustainable public transport model.

About You;

You’re a safe operator who takes pride in their appearance and communicates well. You understand that you will be transporting children to & from school, and have the patience to deal with these members of our community.

Your Skills;

• Full Class 2 NZ License (minimum)


• Reliable


• Good communicator


• P endorsement or willing to obtain
