CEO / General Manager - Christchurch Based Opportunity

We're excited to be partnering with a well-established organisation operating within the infrastructure sector is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Chief Executive Officer to lead its next phase of growth.

This is a pivotal leadership role based in Christchurch, requiring a proven executive with strong infrastructure or related sector experience, who can balance strategic vision with operational delivery while engaging effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.

You will be responsible for shaping and executing organisational strategy, driving performance outcomes, and leading a capable senior leadership team through continued transformation and growth across the country.

Key responsibilities include:

• Setting and delivering long-term strategic direction
• Leading organisational performance, culture, and capability
• Building strong stakeholder, board, and partner relationships
• Ensuring financial sustainability and commercial discipline
• Driving operational excellence and continuous improvement

We are looking for:

• Significant executive leadership experience at senior executive level
• Strong preference for candidates with infrastructure sector experience (or closely related sectors such as utilities, energy, construction, or large-scale capital delivery environments)
• Strong commercial and strategic capability with a track record of delivery
• Experience leading complex organisations through change and growth
• Highly developed stakeholder and governance engagement skills
• A grounded, authentic leadership style with strong people focus
