You will work closely with the Board of Directors.

- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan that aligns with TupuToa’s mission and values
- Oversee day to day operations, ensuring efficiency, scalability and sustainability across all programmes and initiatives
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with government agencies, corporate partners, and community organisations to expand reach and impact
- Lead fundraising efforts to secure financial support and resources necessary to drive growth and innovation
- Curate a culturally safe and high performing team culture
- Champion diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives within the organisation and throughout the stakeholder communities
Ngā huanga | Key requirements:
- Demonstrable understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Te Āo Māori, te reo Māori me ōna tikanga.
- Proven track record of executive leadership in a nonprofit, corporate or social enterprise environment, with a focus on strategy and operations
- Excellent business acumen and financial management skills with experience overseeing budgets and driving revenue growth
- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, stakeholders and supporters
- Deep commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, with a demonstrated understanding the unique challenges facing Māori and Pacific young professionals.
