Our Cardiology ward leads New Zealand in providing specialist cardiovascular nursing care based on clinical skill, research, education, and innovation. Our commitment is to the highest level of clinical care to our patients from central and Regional Auckland/Northland, as well as across the rest of New Zealand. The Charge Nurse is accountable for nursing professional and practice standards, ensuring nursing staff safely and effectively meet the clinical nursing care needs of patients and their family/whānau in the area of care they are responsible for.
This role is responsible for inpatients in a ward or department. It specifically serves the service and patient speciality populations as well as the sub-speciality of patients at Te Toka Tumai.
The Charge Nurse leads the team to model the vision and values of Te Toka Tumai and contributes to the directorate and organisational strategic direction.
This is a permanent full-time (1.0 FTE) Monday to Friday role! You will also be joining a great team environment and working with a dedicated team.
