The Role  

ReStore Store Manager- Stanmore Bay

Habitat for Humanity Charity- Northern Region 

We are looking for an experienced Retail Store Manager Superstar to start in our new ReStore charity shop opening in Stanmore Bay. This is a hands-on role leading a new team of staff and volunteers. As the manager you will be responsible for all aspects of operations with your team from receiving donations, merchandising, pricing, sales, customer service, administration and achieving budget. 

This is an incredibly rewarding senior retail management position for someone who is passionate about retail, preloved quality items and have a genuine desire to work in the charity sector. 

Hours : Tuesday to Saturday 40 hours per week 8:45am - 5:15pm

 Skills and experience required:

• 2 years retail management experience
• Have a passion for vintage, preloved and all secondhand items 
• Proven leadership skills within a team  
• Adaptable and be a good multi-tasker
• Positive communicator and relationship manager
• Be able to make good decisions under pressure at times
• Positive attitude and self-motivated
• Effective at time management and problem solver
• Resilient and resourceful
• Have good computer skills eg MS Office and POS skills  
• Be well organised, tidy and follow protocols and procedures well
• Merchandising experience and creativity for visual displays
• Fluent in both spoken and written English to high level

Responsibilities:  

• Manage the overall operations of ReStore eg from receiving donations to sales
• Achieving the financial objectives of the ReStore eg sales targets & budgets
• Identify sales opportunities and achieve sales targets with the team
• Ensure stock is prepared for sale, merchandise and manage restocking
• Champion consistent excellent customer service
• Respond to customer queries and complaints appropriately 
• ReStore administration tasks eg banking, rostering, till reconciliation, emails, reporting, timesheet approval
• Social media input
• Health & Safety
• Provide leadership, direction and management of staff and volunteers 
• Coach, train and develop ReStore staff and volunteers
• Ensure that all procedures and protocol are followed
• Uphold and role model the values of Habitat for Humanity Northern Region
