Role Overview:
As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Timescapes, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping their technological vision and driving innovation. You'll guide a talented team of half a dozen engineers to develop products and solutions that are reshaping the construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact, working in a fast-paced, but well-established startup environment where you will have a significant influence over the product and business. You will be charged with leading and growing a world class engineering team and helping to establish a visionary product/UI/UX department. Timescapes is a business with a rich tradition of solving complex problems through curiosity and innovation. This role will bring together your unquestionable technical pedigree, as well as your visionary product ideas, as you use the power of modern technology such as AI and Machine Learning to drive the next frontier of innovation for Timescapes and their customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the technology and product strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Build and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Champion product development initiatives, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
- Manage technology operations, vendor relationships, and budgets effectively.
Experience Required:
- Hands-on technical expertise with a diverse skillset in software development. This is a small (but growing) team, and you will need to be able to deep dive into the technology.
- A track-record of clear and simplistic customer-centric decision making for technology products and services.
- Strong leadership and management skills with a strategic vision.
- Proven experience in leading product development initiatives.
- Working knowledge of new technologies to continue innovating ahead of the curve
- Clear and concise communication skills
