CHILD & YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH CLINICIAN - AUSTRALIAN CONTRACT

THE ROLE
Salary: $70 per hour + Super + Salary Packaging
Location: Mount Isa, Queensland
Hours: Monday - Friday, Full Time
Contract Length: 12 weeks with possible extension
Accommodation: Included, along with internal travel

We are looking for a skilled Youth Mental Health Clinician to work within a multi-disciplinary team in Mount Isa, Queensland. You will work across a case management model, provide assessments and a comprehensive range of therapeutic interventions for youth and adolescents who are affected by moderate to severe mental health problems, or who have complex emotional and behavioural problems. You will work in collaboration with the clients' family and carers, as well as their broader support network. You will support young people and assist them in achieving the goals and actions outlined in their care/management plan. You will also develop a systems-based approach to young people, as well as actively facilitate the provision of appropriate services across the full range of government and non-government agencies and individuals.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Bachelor Degree in Social Work or Psychology
• Social Worker with AASW eligibility or Psychologist with full AHPRA registration
• Previous experience working with child and youth in a clinical setting
• Strong experience working in the case management space
• QLD Blue Card (Working With Children's Check) or willingness to obtain one
• National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
• Covid-19 vaccination certificate
