This role can be based in Auckland, Christchurch or Wellington. 

About the Role 

Are you a civil engineering expert with a passion for land development? Join our dynamic Pre-Construction team as a Civil Portfolio Manager, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the success of large-scale development projects across New Zealand. 

What you’ll do: 

• Provide technical leadership across civil design and delivery 
• Manage civil procurement and contractor engagement 
• Support due diligence for new land acquisitions 
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors and internal teams to ensure designs are fit for purpose, buildable, cost-efficient, and align with programme 
• Be the go-to expert for civil risk mitigation and delivery assurance 

What you’ll need: 

• A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in civil engineering 
• Proven experience in civil design, construction methodologies and contract administration 
• Strong commercial acumen and civil contract administration skills 
• A collaborative mindset and a drive for continuous improvement 
• A positive & solutions focused approach to your work
