Claims Consultant

As a Commercial Motor Claims Consultant, you'll play a critical role in supporting commercial customers through unexpected events, helping them navigate the claims process with confidence and care. This is far more than a traditional claims role. You'll take ownership of claims from start to finish, balancing customer advocacy, commercial outcomes, and sound decision-making to deliver the best possible experience.

Working closely with customers, brokers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, you'll build trusted relationships and use your problem-solving skills to achieve fair, efficient, and customer-focused outcomes. What You'll Do

• Manage a portfolio of commercial motor claims from lodgement through to resolution, taking ownership of the customer experience throughout the claims journey.
• Build strong relationships with customers, brokers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to deliver timely and effective outcomes.
• Make informed decisions, manage claim costs responsibly, and ensure claims are handled in line with policy, authority levels, and governance requirements.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, systems, and customer experiences.

What You'll Bring

You'll be a customer-centric professional who combines empathy with sound commercial judgment and enjoys working in a collaborative, high-performing environment.

We're looking for:

• Experience in customer service, claims, insurance, or another outcome-focused environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to manage challenging conversations.
• The ability to assess information, solve problems, and make balanced decisions.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A proactive, resilient mindset and a genuine commitment to delivering great customer outcomes.

Experience in motor or commercial insurance claims is highly regarded but not essential.
