Class 4 HIAB Truck Driver

About the Role

We’re looking for a Class 4 HIAB Truck Driver to join our team, delivering metal roofing and cladding products safely and on time to customers and between branches. You’ll be responsible for your load from pickup to delivery, operating the HIAB crane for loading and unloading, and supporting warehouse operations as needed.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am–5:00pm (Full-time, permanent)

What you’ll do:

• Operate Class 4 trucks fitted with a truck-mounted HIAB crane safely and in line with NZ regulations
• Load, secure, and unload long steel roofing and cladding products
• Perform regular manual handling, lifting, pushing, and pulling tasks
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and defect reports for truck and crane
• Ensure all load documentation is complete and accompanies the freight
• Maintain compliance records for New Zealand transport regulations
• Assist with general store and warehouse duties when required

• Full Class 4 licence with a clean driving record (essential)
• HIAB crane experience and ability to safely lift and place long steel products (essential)
• Experience delivering building or similar products (advantageous)
• Valid forklift licence and practical operating experience
• Physically fit for regular manual handling
• Intermediate computer skills
