Are you an experienced Class 5 driver or a Class 4 driver wanting to step up?

We’re on the hunt for a Class 5 Driver to join our Whangarei branch! This is a great opportunity for a professional driver who values stability, routine work, and being part of a supportive local team.

Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating in New Zealand from Kaitaia to Invercargill.

About the role - Mō te tūranga

This role will be responsible to assist with the timely safe handling of freight for the company to achieve their target delivery goals. The routes this role will cover are throughout the wider Whangarei region.

Holding your Class 4 or 5 license is crucial and having your F and D&G endorsements will be an advantage.

What you'll do:

• Load and unload freight safely by hand, or with forklift when required. 

• Ensure freight is handled without damage. 

• Scan all freight. If you touch it, scan it. 

• Deliver and pickup on time and in full. 

• Actively participate in all safety processes and procedures 

• Always operate your vehicle in a safe and legal manner. 

• Take pride in your vehicle by always keeping it clean and tidy - inside and out. 

What will you bring? – Ōu Pūkenga?

• Clean Full NZ Class 5 License – must have
• Forklift License with OSH cert – preferrable
• Dangerous Good Endorsement – preferrable
• Customer-focused attitude
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Experience driving on New Zealand roads
