Rate based on experience. Further 8% holiday payWe are looking for a full-time cleaner to join our facilities management client based at the army base in Papakura. The ideal candidate should have some experience in cleaning, be able to work independently with minimal supervision and must possess good attention to detail. The role involves keeping the grounds, living quarters and surrounding areas clean and is full of diversity!Responsibilities:- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming and emptying trash bins- Clean and disinfect washrooms and kitchen areas- Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as hallways and staircases- Keep outdoor areas tidy by removing litter and debris- Report any maintenance issues or damages to supervisor promptly- Follow health and safety procedures at all timesSkills:- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision- Strong attention to detailQualifications:- No formal qualifications required for this position, but some cleaning experience is required- You will be required to do a Site Safe course prior to startingAdditional Requirements:- Must be able, willing and available to work full-time (Monday- Friday 7.00 am – 3.30pm) - this is not negotiable- Must have lived in one of the 5 Eyes countries consecutively for 10 years - New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom, Canada or the United States- Must be able to pass a criminal check as it is mandatory requirement for the forces.- Must provide 2 forms of valid ID- Must have reliable transport to easily get to and from the base.Salary & Benefits:This position offers a starting rate of $23.15 - $24.50 per hour plus 8% leave loading (depending on experience). Weekly pay is provided along with regular working hours.
