About Mushroom Creative House

Mushroom Creative House is a creative agency and a production company part of the Mushroom Group family that creates ‘unforgettable’ content, events and experiences for our clients.

Our Client Partnership team has been created to connect brands to music and entertainment. The department’s key functions include identifying, executing and reporting on campaigns that are tailored to specific briefs. This is tight knit team who has the privilege of working with some of the biggest global artists and the most reputable brands!

About the role

As part of our Client Partnerships team, the Client Partnerships Director plays a vital role in ensuring we achieve our partners detailed objectives through creating and executing strategic campaigns. Holding and managing senior level relationships with our clients in this role is a priority to safeguard our success, whilst also leading a team to ensure we maintain consistent communications, deliver concepts, execute and report.

This person will lead all loyalty and customer retention programs, including management of our client’s journey from marketing through to fulfilment, ensuring their experience is unforgettable all the way through. They will be able to think two steps ahead, with the knack to anticipate our client’s needs and foresee potential issues.

This role isn’t limited to project work however, and also stretches into new business opportunities and business operations to drive efficiencies, as well as playing an active involvement in renewing client agreements. Being a hands-on role, this person won’t be afraid to roll their sleeves up and support wherever needed.

The Client Partnerships Director role forms part of our growth trajectory by ensuring the team is working efficiently and to deadline, and our communication and stakeholder management is top of mind.

This is a full-time role, based out of our South Melbourne office (with some flexibility to work from home). Due to the nature of this role, this person will have the ability and willingness to work outside normal working hours including weekends as and when required to support events delivery.

Sounds like you? If so, you will have the following. 

  • 3 + years’ experience in Account Direction or Strategic Partnerships
  • Experience in Loyalty & Customer Retention Programs is ideal
  • Experience within music, entertainment, sporting or creative industry is advantageous
  • Proven ability to lead a team, with a high attention to detail on company processes and ways of working.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate ideas, provide constructive feedback, and build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and platforms to facilitate project execution and collaboration.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify potential challenges and develop effective strategies to address them.
  • Passion for the Music and creative industry
  • Strong negotiation skills, business acumen and project management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products.
