About us:

East Care has been delivering urgent care to the East Auckland community for over 30 years. Our multi-disciplinary team use their skills to care for our local community, 365 days a year.

The opportunity:

We're seeking a highly motivated person who has previous management experience in healthcare. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our busy urgent care clinic, constantly working with the team to identify and implement areas of opportunity and improvement. 

To be successful in this role, you will be able to identify areas of opportunity and growth then formulate plans to bring these to fruition.  You will be able to incorporate the vision into your daily conversations, delegate according to the individual competencies of your team and follow up to ensure actual and positive outcomes become reality.  As the successful person in this role, you will:

• Collaborate with a strategically focused CEO and report to a highly dedicated manager who has a depth of healthcare experience.
• Work alongside the Clinical Director and Director of Nursing with managing the day-to-day operations.
• Improve processes to enhance excellent service delivery and operational outcomes for patients and employees.
• Lead and direct the roll-out of new technologies to automate processes to enhance patient experience.
• Utilise your leadership skills to initiate changes to our current model of care with a nurse-led and patient-focused approach.
• Be an integral contributor to support the redesign of the clinic and associated functions.

The skills | We’d like you to have:

• Experience in business health management preferred.
• A health professional or clinical background is an advantage.
• People management experience.
• Health, safety and quality experience.

The Clinic Manager role is a permanent full-time position with flexible working hours across the week as some evenings and weekends will be required.  We offer a competitive remuneration package, onsite parking, confidential EAP services and the ability to avoid central city traffic to work in East Auckland.
