Clinical Coordinator Aged Care Mt Maunganui - with Growth Opportunities

Our client is looking for an 

• Experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator with recent advanced NZ aged care experience, who has the ability to lead a large team that will ensure only the best care is administered at all times to the residents and their families.
• As part of the Facility Management team, you will work closely with the Care Home Manager caring for the residents in this purpose-built facility. 

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, offering a good mix of mentoring of staff, together with overlooking resident care.

Skills and Experience:

• Have a minimum 5 years' experience working with the elderly at management level and be clinically strong.
• Have a high level of clinical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be NZ trained as an RN with a current APC with the NZ Nursing Council.
• Be able to provide leadership to other staff and have the ability to motivate and teach staff and have excellent organisational skills.
• Have empathy and commitment to excellence in the care of the elderly and a passion for working with the elderly.

Responsibilities:

• Coordination, education, training and supervision of nursing staff.
• Share ‘On Call’ duties on a rotational basis.
• Develop staff rosters to meet the acuity of Residents/ patients in each service area.
• Infection Control
