An exciting opportunity for an experienced clinical manager to come in to this aged care providers Central North Island site and make it their own. This facility is 75 beds across rest home, hospital and dementia (L3) levels of care. The role will be working full time, 40hrs/week with shared on call for weekends. There are 40 staff but they do not report directly in to you. The CM in this facility is responsible for staff orientation, mentorship and development and you will have excellent support from the Facility Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a clinical team without full direct reports and really make the role your own.

What you have to do:

• Oversight of the clinical aspects of care delivered to the residents
• Leadership of the clinical team-support, mentor, inspire and develop
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders and multi disciplinary teams
• Support along with the facility manager of all aspects of the clinical strategy for this site including audits, budget and management

Skills & Experience

• Current APC and registration
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and mentor the team
• Previous experience as a clinical manager would be advantageous
• Well organised
