Candidates should hold a post-graduate qualification in mental health or be actively working towards one (or possess equivalent learning). Candidates would ideally hold an expert level PDRP or be actively working towards that.Cultural competence is paramount, including a robust understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its practical application, coupled with hands-on experience working with and for Maori communities. Applicants should bring to the table specialised expertise in mental health nursing across primary/community, secondary, or tertiary settings, along with a proven history of addressing acute and complex mental health and/or addiction challenges.Lastly, a thorough understanding of the professional, ethical, and legislative facets that underpin underpinning contemporary mental health practice is crucial.The full salary range is $110,704 - $117,907. (This range will increase to $114,025 -$121,444 as of July 2024).
