About the roles:

We have a number of temporary Collection Officer opportunities in the pipeline in Napier and we are on the lookout for people interested in these types of roles.

The Collection Officer's responsibilities:

• Contact customers using a variety of communication methods and negotiate payments
• Update and answer client queries where required on recovery progress
• Maintain all aspects relating to the administration of customer files including payment processing, updating contact information, sending and saving correspondence, etc.

Your Experience

We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-oriented team players with a positive and hardworking attitude. Our ideal candidate would be someone who has already worked in a call centre environment. However, if you have great customer service skills and confidence to handle a high number of phone calls, we want to hear from you!

• Previous experience in a similar role - call centre or collections would be highly advantageous
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with clients via phone/email
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Good level of empathy and resilience
• Ability to work towards KPIs
• Strong computer skills and systems savvy (competency in MS Word / Excel / Typing and Data Entry)
