About the role

As commercial analyst you would support the Aliaxis NZ group of companies. Assisting them with analysis, insights, and performance reporting, to enable better decision making.

Your aim will be to improve our business intelligence and identify areas to save costs and improve margins and efficiency. The role is both analytical and support focused, primarily working with sales and marketing, but also the wider business.

You would be performing in-depth financial analysis and modelling to support business initiatives.

Provide modelling, insights, and reporting for market, customer, and product performance.

Support logistics and manufacturing as required, providing analysis or customised reports to help them in their day-to-day operations.

Help prepare, and add insights to, budgets and forecasts.

Complete month-end reporting and variance analysis.

Provide analytical support for the finance team as needed, and backup for the master data analyst for product and customer activities.

Involvement with special projects.

About you

You need an ability to think strategically, with strong commercial and financial acumen. A solid background in analysis & scenario modelling; with proven experience in offering insights and improvements through analysis and engagement with the business.

Ability to build collaborative working relationships with the broader finance, sales, marketing, operations teams, and Aliaxis NZ Executive

Bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, marketing, or business is desirable.

Minimum 5 years work experience in finance, sales, marketing or operations.

Power user of excel and intermediate/advanced user of PowerBI.
