Job Description - Commercial Broker - Urgent Role

As a Commercial Broker with Lifetime, you will be responsible for managing and growing a profitable portfolio of new and existing clients through selling and servicing financial services and products. This role requires a combination of industry knowledge, negotiation skills, and customer service expertise to ensure client satisfaction and drive business growth.

 

Responsibilities Include: 

  • New Business Development: Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients to achieve New Business Targets. 
  • Oversight of debt management. 
  • Assess clients' needs and preferences to match them with suitable commercial products.  
  • Relationship management of key Lifetime Advisers in order to create ongoing internal referrals.
  • Maintain regular client monitoring and review the progress of the original client objectives. Make recommendations concerning changes in situation and changes to products.
  • Maintain regular client reviews. 
  • Stay current on industry regulations, legal requirements, and best practices related to financial advice services. 

 

To be successful in this position you shall have:

  • Level 5 Financial Services Qualification (General Strand). 
  • Actively demonstrates professionalism throughout the organisation and the industry and is a credible and trustworthy person who holds the respect and loyalty of all stakeholders.
  • Strongly leads by example, provides clear expectations and direction.  Causes people to believe what they do makes a difference and uses different leadership styles to achieve objectives.
  • Has tenacity in pursuing goals, showing focus in the face of opposition and ensures personal goals are aligned with the company objectives.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding and commitment to the goals and objectives of the organisation, regularly contributes to formulating goals.
  • Makes the insightful, timely decisions in difficult, high complex situations that have broad impact across the company.
  • Champions the ‘quality cause’, sets directions, defines standards and values and embeds continuous improvement inside and outside areas of responsibility.
  • Displays strong commercial acumen: analyses key drivers, opportunities and competitive advantages to develop strategies to benefit the business.
