The Nelson Opportunity:

We are looking to employ someone who wants to expand their abilities, and work with some fantastic brands. Here at CablePrice, we are the exclusive authorised dealer for Hitachi Construction Machinery. Furthermore, we are also the authorised sales, parts, and service dealer for the full range of Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Fuso trucks in the South Island. This is the gear you will be working on.

If you consider yourself an enthusiastic and experienced Commercial Vehicle technician or a Heavy Diesel mechanic, you'll want to join our work family here in sunny Nelson. We are looking for someone that we can invest in, and we want to be a part of your professional development. To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:

• Heavy Diesel or Automotive Qualification with 3 years' experience or maybe 5 years + of heavy diesel experience (with no qualification)
• Mechanical capabilities and technical skills for servicing of our heavy commercial vehicles
• A wicked diagnostic ability with analytical thinking to navigate the complex issues that come up in our day-to-day challenges
• Confidence in your computer literacy and a committed, customer-focused mindset
