Job Description - Communications Advisor

Reporting to the Group Manager- Brand,Communications and Engagement, you willplay a pivotal role collaborating and partnering with our business to deliver communications that exhibitNorthpower’s purpose, aspirations and enhance employer brand awareness by engagingwith a broad range of stakeholders. Based in Aucklandyou will be responsible for: - Providing support with internal andexternal communications across the organisation including Business leads, P& C , Digital and Customer Servicesteams
- Creating compelling content and copywritingfor various campaigns for use across our various platforms, including internalaudiences, social media and other media channels
- Producing exceptionalstorytelling, along with the ability to cut through complex technical contentto deliver engaging content
- Producing Northpower’s Annual reportand other significant publications
-Managing the preparation and submissionof external award entries for our businesses, showcasing Northpower’sachievements and celebrating its people
- Preparing valuable content for our website in collaboration withbusiness subject matter experts to ensure content is current and accurate, manageupdates and use analytics and data to identify trends andinsights to improve website performance What’s in it for you?

To be successful in this role, you will be a natural people person who enjoys connecting and maintaining trusting relations with multi-nationals and easily able to adapt to the corporate environment.You will be a pro in creative writing and preparing communications plans tosuit the audience. You will also have: - A Bachelor's degree incommunications, marketing or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience
- A passion for storytelling and creating engaging communications using avariety of media and channels
- Demonstrated expertise in copywriting and proofreading skills
- Being proactive, well-organised with a keen eye to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work
- Exceptional communication skills, bothwritten and spoken, with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively
- Project management skills to manage multiple pieces of works, to meet set objectives and deadlines
- Experienceexecuting communication strategies and relaying complex information for avariety of audiences; exposure to working with online content management systemsand social media
- Full Driver’s Licence
- Enjoy working with a small team and being reliable to extend a helping hand whenneeded, yet able to work self-directed
