About the role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi 
Asthe Communications and Design Manager you will deliver top quality internal communicationsupport to Wise Management Services teams and colleagues. You’ll develop andmanage strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, and provide trusted,professional advice and astute communication planning and services.

Y ouwill also lead an exceptional team of creative individuals with diverse skills,including creative designers, studio production coordinators, digitalmarketers, and web developers to provide high-quality design and digital servicesto Wise Group entities. With your leadership and guidance, your team willcreate stunning digital and print designs that engage and inspire audiences. Youwill be responsible for managing budgets, organisational demands, and teamworkflows to achieve great customer outcomes, providing valued services andadvice across the Wise Group.

You’llwork with fairness, equality, and respect to create a positive workplaceculture that values diverse knowledge, perspectives, experiences, and styles.

You’llbe working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with the flexibility to workfrom both home and the office. Our office is based in Hamilton East.

Thereare some essential and preferred skills you'll need including:

  • Tertiary qualification in communications/PR, or related area.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in communications/public relations.
  • Proven experience inspiring and leading a high performing team.
  • Ability to work successfully with Māori as tangata whenua and across cultures.
  • Great organisational skills, attention to detail and meticulousness in everything you do.
  • Comfortable working with key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
  • Knowledge of the New Zealand health sector, in particular the non-government and community sector an advantage.
