Are you a passionate communicator ready to make a real difference? We're looking for a talented Communications Specialist to join our team! This role is a blend of creativity and strategy, responsible for crafting and delivering compelling internal and external communications across our Group.
In this role, you will be a creative storyteller that:
- Leads the development and implementation of impactful communication strategies that aligns with our organisational goals and amplifies our mission
- Facilitates effective internal communication by creating and disseminating content that keeps employees informed and engaged.
- Creates compelling and engaging content for various platforms, including internal channels, websites, social media, and media relations.
- Produces high-quality multimedia content such as videos, infographics, and photos to elevate our campaigns.
- Ensures consistent and cohesive brand messaging and visual identity across all channels.
- Collaborates with our Communications and Marketing Specialist to develop and execute integrated campaigns that resonate deeply with our audience.
This is a permanent, full-time role (40 hours a week, Monday to Friday) based in either our Lambie Drive (South Auckland) or Pacific Rise Office (Sylvia Park/Mount Wellington).
We're looking for someone who brings:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field
- At least 7 years of experience in a communications role
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to create clear, compelling content for diverse audiences
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, capable of working effectively with colleagues at all levels
- Strong organisational skills, self-sufficiency, and a knack for problem-solving.
- A customer-focused mindset, with the ability to prioritise workloads and thrive in fast-paced environments
- A proactive, energetic attitude and a love for hustle
- The ability to plan, organise, and deliver projects involving multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines
- Full New Zealand Driver's License
