About us Mary Potter Hospice provides specialist palliative care services for people living in Wellington, Porirua and Kapiti. We provide equitable, compassionate, patient- and whanau- centred, free-of-charge hospice care for patients, families, whanau and carers in the places they call home, and at our Inpatient Unit in Newtown.
About the position We are currently recruiting for Community Registered Nurses to support patients in our Porirua community.
The purpose of these fulfilling and important roles is to provide skilled and compassionate care to ensure that all of our patients receive a high standard of service. You will be working with a friendly, professional and multidisciplinary team, providing in-home care and support to patients and whanau.
You will be working Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 5.00pm – no weekends.
About you You will need to:
Be a NZ registered nurse with a current NZ annual practicing certificatePreferably have palliative care experience (two years post registration) or community experience but we will provide training and support for the right person interested in developing their skills and knowledge in this fieldBe required to undertake pre-employment health screening and complete a Ministry of Justice criminal records checkHave NZ residency or a valid work visa.Apply now to join our compassionate and fantastic community palliative care team here at Mary Potter Hospice.
