Companion Animal Veterinarian – Winton Clinic 

We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Companion Animal Veterinarian to join our friendly and experienced team in Winton.

Whether you’re an experienced companion animal vet looking to step into leadership, or a mixed animal vet keen to shift your focus and grow your skills in a new direction, this role could be a great fit. For the right person, there’s the potential for this role to evolve into a Clinical Lead – Small Animal position. 

About the Role: 
In this role, you’ll work alongside a dedicated team of vets and nurses to provide high-quality care across consults, surgeries, diagnostics, and client education. You’ll play a key part in supporting the day-to-day running of the clinic, caring for hospitalised patients, and helping clients make informed decisions about their pets’ health. 

There’s plenty of scope to get involved in wellness initiatives like weight control clinics and preventative health programs — and if you’re looking to grow into a leadership role, this is a fantastic place to start building that experience. 

You’ll also play a key part in: 

• Ensuring high standards in surgical, diagnostic, and clinical processes 


• Building strong client relationships through great communication and service 


• Supporting wellness and health maintenance programs 


• Maintaining Health & Safety standards and contributing to team culture 
  

About You: 
We’re after someone who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to providing excellent patient care. You might be a newer vet with a solid foundation and a desire to grow, or an experienced vet ready for a new challenge. 

You’ll ideally bring: 

• A BVSc(or equivalent) and be eligible to practise in NZ 


• Strong clinical skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach 


• Great communication and time management 


• An interest in developing leadership capabilities over time
