Compliance Officer - Rapid Progression

Fresh Meats NZ is a boutique Napier based Lamb Processing site manufacturing top quality products destined for both domestic and international markets and we are on the lookout for a Compliance Officer. 

The Compliance Officer is a plant based operational role and supports the Compliance Manager with technical and compliance duties for the day to day benefit of the operation. 

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Food industry experience or qualification(s)
• Compliance experience preferably in a lamb processing environment
• A sound understanding of regulatory requirements and technical systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications including word, excel
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong problem solving skills 
• Ability to work methodically, and accurately even when under pressure
• Good organisational skills, able to plan and manage resources effectively
