Where you come in.

Our Lakes District Team (Rotorua & Taupo) are growing more and more into the Taupo region and with that we are now looking for another Construction Manager to join us. 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll be one of four Construction Managers for the region and be primarily responsible for the project management of our homes in Taupo. 

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the direction, schedule, and progress of allocated houses, ensuring that all timeframes and priorities are met.
• Ensuring the construction of our builds are delivered in full, on time and in spec.
• Ensuring a high level of customer service is delivered during the construction of all new homes so that the Classic Builders brand continues to deliver excellence and high quality.
• Developing and maintaining quality, positive relationships with suppliers and contractors.
• Maintaining strong relationships and communication with our clients. 
• Quality Assurance and Health and Safety duties.

As a Construction Manager, you will get satisfaction knowing that we are handing over the keys to a brand-new home that is built on time, to budget, in spec, and with no compromise to quality or safety.

This role is a combination of both site and office-based work (based out of our Taupo show home and new office premises coming soon). The hours of work are typically 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm.

The successful candidate will be provided with full training, guidance and support along with a company vehicle and mobile.

What you’ll bring to Classic.

• A trade qualified and experienced Builder
• A qualification in Construction Management would be an advantage 
• Experience in residential construction project management
• Technically competent to pick up new software & applications
• The holder of a full & clean NZ Drivers licence
• Current first aid certificate 
• Ability to offer advice and problem solve
• Ability to manage time and multiple projects
