Construction Project Coordinator

Our client is an international company and a world market leader in manufacturing and installing cladding, they are currently seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join them on a large commercial project based in Auckland starting in August.

About the Role:

• This will be a full-time fixed term position starting in August.
• Reporting the Project Manager & Construction Manager

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinating works and liaising with various contractors and managers
• Daily reporting to the project manager about site progress
• Attend all relevant site meetings with main contractor
• Put in place all relevant actions in accordance with construction and project management 
• Organise materials logistics in coordination with construction and project management 
• Conducting weekly safety inspections to ensure all health & safety procedures are being followed, keeping records and following up on any issues.

To be successful you will need:

• At least 4 years' proven experience working as a coordinator on construction sites 
• Diploma in project manager preferred 
• Have an NZ Site Safe Qualification 
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
