An opportunity has arisen within our Digital Group for an experienced Consultant Business Analyst to join the team. We have an exciting and transformational plan ahead designed to strengthen, enhance and transform our infrastructure and technology platform, delivering life changing digital technology for the people we manage and our staff.
Our technology environment is broad and complex. It has been challenged with providing a low risk, low impact operational environment as well as significantly engaging with the business to design and implement IT support for new capabilities.
This is a full-time role, but please do talk to us about flexible working options. This position is based at our National Office in Wellington.
Ngā pūkenga e kimi ana mātou | What you will bring to the role
As Consultant Business Analyst within the Digital team, you will be responsible for providing a high level of internal business analysis and consulting services which will help shape the technology outcomes for the Department.
You will inform and define technical outcome specifications for the department's technology development, and will provide BAU support, along with quality assurance reviews across the project life cycle.
Along with your leadership skills and background in mentoring and coaching team members, you'll need to bring significant experience within the technical and business BA space. You will be well versed with BA best practice, methodologies and governance, and will possess a high level of communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to engage, and build strong and successful relationships with all levels of management and staff. A sound knowledge of the SDLC is essential.

The midpoint of the salary range is $143,461 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $121,942 - $172,154 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
