Ashburn Clinic is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Outpatient Services team in Dunedin.

Ashburn is one of New Zealand’s longest-established psychiatric hospitals and a not-for-profit therapeutic community, providing public and private mental health services to people aged 17+ from across Aotearoa.

This permanent full-time role involves managing an outpatient caseload including psychiatric assessments, rTMS, medication management (including deprescribing), and ADHD, ASD and ACC assessments. The position also offers opportunities to contribute to the development of innovative outpatient services within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Ashburn provides administrative support, consulting rooms, and clinical infrastructure. Please note that this role requires you to do a minimum of 25 billable clinical hours per week.

Applicants must hold vocational registration as a psychiatrist in New Zealand, work well within multidisciplinary teams, and demonstrate commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally responsive care.
