  • Support contract monitoring, analysis and assessment of compliance across Disability Support Services

The Disability Support Services (DSS) Group is responsible for commissioning, funding, and stewarding high-quality services that support disabled people, their families, and whānau. We’re building leadership and management capacity across our teams to deliver both change and business-as-usual effectively.


 


We work closely with providers, stakeholders, and communities to ensure services are fair, consistent, transparent and sustainable. With a strong focus on performance monitoring, data, and insights, we’re committed to continuous improvement and evidence-based decision-making.

About the role | Mō te tūnga:

 


As a Contract Analyst you’ll assist contract managers by maintaining accurate documentation, tracking milestones and deliverables, and analysing funding and performance data. 



You’ll help identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and contribute to improving processes and systems that support contract management decisions.

This role is based in our Wellington office and is a permanent full-time role. 


 


Key responsibilities include:



  • Supporting contract monitoring and performance reporting

  • Analysing provider and funding data to inform decision-making

  • Maintaining accurate contract documentation and records

  • Assisting with audits, reviews, evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Liaising with internal teams and external providers to ensure smooth contract administration

What you bring | Ōu pūmanawatanga:

 



  • Basic understanding of commissioning, procurement, or contracts

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data interpretation and reporting

  • Ability to analyse reports including basic financial statements

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills

  • Proficiency with IT systems including spreadsheets and contract management tools

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to changing priorities

  • Commitment to continuous improvement and best practice

  • Experience in the disability sector is beneficial
