Job Description - Contract Processing Administrator | Fixed-Term

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A FIXED-TERM CONTRACT FOR A PERIOD OF UP TO ONE YEAR, TO COVER MATERNITY LEAVE.

As a Contract Processing Administrator, you will play a vital role in the administration and processing of contracts in a timely and accurate manner. You will work closely with various departments, ensuring that all data is correctly entered and maintained within our systems. This position requires attention to detail and effective communication skills to facilitate the smooth operation of our contract management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process all new, renewed, and terminated customer contracts in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure contracts are accurate, compliant, and properly documented.
  • Assist in preparing contract reports and summaries for management review.
  • Maintain and update digital and physical contract records.
  • Manage branch sales and termination registers/databases.
  • Complete month-end balancing and reporting activities.
  • Liaise with internal teams to gather contract requirements and provide status updates.
  • Resolve contract-related queries from customers and staff.
  • Provide administrative support to team members as needed.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of contract processes, systems, and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proactive, customer-focused, and solution-oriented.
  • Quick to learn, adaptable, and a strategic thinker.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments, maintaining data integrity.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure while staying calm and positive.
  • Experience with contract management software is a plus.

Applicants must have the right to live and work permanently or long-term in New Zealand. 

Successful candidates must complete a pre-employment assessment, including medical, reference, and criminal background checks, meeting Rentokil Initial's satisfactory criteria.
