Contract - Senior Technical Business Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with 12+ years of experience and expertise in core banking & credit card systems plays who has the ability to bridge our customers business needs with technology solutions and work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse processes, and support the delivery of system enhancements and integrations.

What you’ll do:

• Establish and drive requirements gathering activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and commercial to ensure successful project delivery
• Translate requirements into high-quality user stories, including personas and acceptance criteria, to be tested both functionally and non-functionally

About you:

Pivotal for success in this team is your commitment to agile principles and practices, along with a passion for driving the customer experience and requirements on technically-lead projects. And of course, a key aspect being your ability to communicate with stakeholders to elicit requirements and seek opportunities to improve their business.

Your background:

• Strong understanding of core banking systems (e.g., deposits, payments).
• Experience in payment systems, payment platforms (SWIFT, NPP, Mastercard etc.)
• Experience with credit card platforms (e.g., issuing, acquiring, transaction processing; FIS experience is preferred).
• Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and system integration concepts.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and financial services standards.
• Knowledge of API integrations, data migration, and digital banking initiatives.
