Contract Supervisor

Inframax Construction is looking for a Contract Supervisor to join our high-performing Maintenance Team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee daily operations, manage subcontractors and field staff, and delivery of projects that keep New Zealand moving.

As our Contract Supervisor, you will:

• Manage day-to-day operations of maintenance projects under the guidance of the Contract Manager
• Coordinate staff and subcontractors to meet schedules and deliverables
• Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to field crews
• Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams

To be successful in this position, you will have:

• 3+ years of experience in civil infrastructure maintenance or roading
• Supervisory experience in contract or project delivery
• Knowledge of RAMM, STMS Level 1 (preferred), and a Full NZ Class 1 driver’s license
• Strong planning, scheduling, and coordination skills
• Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities
• A collaborative, can-do attitude and a commitment to safety-first culture
